The Great Gingerbread Smoothie

We think smoothies just taste better in jars, especially when paired with our straws! This Gingerbread smoothie recipe features some of our favorite autumn & winter flavors!

What we love about this smoothie is that it starts out with a terrific blend of spices…so if you know that you’re not a fan of one or two of them, you can just try cutting back on the amount or eliminating it. While we enjoyed the recipe as written, the kids preferred it when we cut back on the ginger and cardamom.

Gingerbread smoothie with cinnamon in mason jar


¼ cup sliced banana, frozen
7 oz. (about 1 c) 2% plain Greek yogurt
2 Tbsp. peanut butter
1 Tbsp. molasses
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
¼ tsp cinnamon
⅛ tsp nutmeg
⅛ tsp cardamom
1 cup ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a high-power blender and puree until smooth. Serve and enjoy!

    Awesome! Out of molasses so I used honey. Thinned with a bit of almond milk, and it was delish!
