38-2000 Black Button Metal Lug Lid

38mm 38-2000 black metal lid with pasteurization plastisol and safety button. The plastisol is suitable for hot-fill and cooling, steam capping, or pasteurization processes. This black metal cap has a safety button in the center of the lid. As your product creates a vacuum, the button will depress to provide a visible confirmation that a vacuum seal has been achieved. Additionally, this lid has an acid-resistant interior coating, making it suitable for preserving high-acid foods. Applying a lug closure requires twisting the lid to grasp the jar's threads. Lug/twist-off closures are manufactured primarily for compatibility with commercial machine capping equipment. However, many of our customers apply them by hand. We highly recommend testing your packaging selection(s) for compatibility with each product and processing method before placing large orders.
