38-2000 Gold Button Metal Lug Lid

38mm 38-2000 gold metal lid with pasteurization plastisol and safety button. The lid is suitable for hot-fill and cooling, or pasteurization process. The 38 mm lug cap features an acid-resistant interior coating, making it suitable for preserving high-acid foods. The safety button on this cap is a visual confirmation that a vacuum seal has been achieved. This closure fits jars with a 38/2000 finish; see our matching jars under the Accessories tab. Lug caps are sold separately by the piece or case.

Applying a lug closure requires twisting the lid to grasp onto the jar's threads. Lug/twist-off closures are manufactured primarily for commercial machine capping equipment compatibility. However, many of our customers apply them by hand. We highly recommend testing your packaging selection (s) for compatibility with each product and processing method before placing large orders.
