Biscuits and Jampionship Challenge 2022

The Jelly Queens are accepting entries for the Biscuits and Jampionship Challenge 2022, which will lead to the crowning of the next Jelly Queen or King at the World Food Championships (WFC) in Dallas, Texas.

The WFC is the largest competition in Food Sport, where grand champions of previous events convene for a chance at winning the ultimate food crown and a share of hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money. The Championships is also the springboard for many up-and-coming culinary stars and home cooks as they seek TV fame through many well-known food shows and acting opportunities. The World Food Championships host several competitions leading up to their annual main event every Fall. The Jelly Queens proudly moderates the Biscuits and Jampionship Challenge every year. This online recipe contest will qualify ten talented cooks of the Biscuit & Jampionship to qualify and compete for a sweet cash prize at the world’s Ultimate Food World Food Championship in November 2022 at Fair Park! 

How to Enter

Chefs and home cooks are challenged to create a ‘Peach, Bacon, and Hot Sauce Biscuit’ recipe for round 1. Then for round 2, Semi-Finalists will be required to submit an original recipe for PICKLES. Submissions for round 1 – ‘Peach, Bacon, and Hot Sauce Biscuit’ recipe – are being accepted through August 20, 2022, and the rules are simple. Contestants are to submit an original ‘Peach, Bacon, and Hot Sauce Biscuit’ recipe by emailing it to The Jelly Queens. The recipe must use the following required ingredients.

• Biscuit: Challenge Butter, Jovial Flour, and PurDate Sweetener
• Peach Jam/Jelly: Pomona’s Universal Pectin
• Bill-E’s Small Batch Bacon (any product of your choice)
• Mikey V’s Hot Sauce (any product of your choice)
• Container: Fillmore Container (any product of your choice)
• Jelly or jam recipes are required to use the following ingredients and products: Pyure Organic Sweetener, Pomona’s Universal Pectin and Fillmore Container Jars.
