Homemade Cleaning Spray

Making homemade cleaning sprays is easier than you think. Over the years we’ve made a variety of cleaning supplies including – laundry detergent, scouring powder, glass cleaner. You can get those recipes here. In this post, we will share our recipes for granite and bathroom spray cleaners.

Interest in making safe homemade cleaners has become more prevalent, in part due to the coronavirus pandemic. There is also a growing interest in knowing more about the chemical ingredients that we bring into our home. Making your own homemade cleaning spray is one way to know exactly what you are using to clean your home.

Granite Cleaner

  • 1 3/4 cups of water
  • 1/3 cup 70% Rubbing Alcohol (Isopropyl alcohol)
  • 1/2 tsp. Castile Soap, Dawn, or other liquid soap
  • 20+ drops essential oil
Using a funnel, add rubbing alcohol and water into a 16oz. glass container. To emulsify the essential oils, mix the soap and oils in a small bowl and then add to your container. Pair with a reCAP mason jar Adapta cap sprayer. Give the container a good shake before using the spray.

NOTES:
