COVID-19 Update – Now Open for Pick-Up – Updated June 3, 2021
We continue to be grateful to our customers for your patience and understanding as we worked through necessary logistics as we continue to offer a safe and efficient Pick-Up solution for you and for our team. Please check in here to see the latest COVID-19 Update. Our facility (warehouse, showroom and office) is still only open to our staff, which means no walk-in business. All pick-up orders must be scheduled through our website prior to your arrival. This will continue at least until after we have settled into our new facility. By that time, we will also hopefully have a better picture of what autumn make look like, from a safety perspective, and what the best plan will be.
*As we approach our move date, please pay extra special attention to our updates, and be sure to read your order confirmation emails completely to ensure a smooth pick up process.
To ensure Pick-Up goes smoothly, safely, and ultimately saves you time and money, please note the following guidelines and changes to our Pre-Order Self-Serve Pick-Up procedures.
Self-Serve Pick-Up Garage
Our Self-Serve Pick-Up Garage is for cart-sized and smaller orders. This is where you will retrieve your Pick-Up order. You can see a brief tour of the Pick-Up Garage in the video below. Orders on Pallets will be retrieved at the overhead warehouse door marked Door A. There is a doorbell at that warehouse door to contact us.
The Garage is open Monday through Friday 9 am – 4 pm. Specific Pick-Up time slots will be scheduled during check-out. All orders must be placed at least 48 hours (or 2 business days) in advance. Slots are limited, so it’s possible that you may need to choose a day further out. Please pay special attention to the date that you are selecting, as we are only picking & staging orders as they are scheduled. This means that if you show up before your scheduled date, your order will not be staged, and you will have to return on your scheduled date. Also be sure that the individual making your pick-up has read & processed the information contained in the order confirmation email, so they are properly prepared when they arrive.
Before picking up, please review the following information so you are familiar with the process.
All orders must be placed at least 48 hours (or 2 business days) in advance (through our website) and scheduled according to what is available. Time slots are limited, so you may need to choose a date further out.
Any desired additions must be placed as a separate order. If you wish to pick both up at the same time, you may only do so at the laterof the two dates.
This is designed to be contact-less, so please make sure that the individual coming to get the order is physically capable of handling your order, and is clearly aware of the procedures.
Most orders will be on a cart or shelf in our Self-Serve Pick-Up Garage.
Orders loading onto vehicles that can accommodate a pallet will be brought out through Door A – our large overhead door. If palletized pick-up is preferred, the vehicle will need clearance of 44” wide and 54” deep. Pallet dimensions and weights vary, so please confirm your vehicle’s capability with Fillmore customer service after placing your order. We are unable to load pallets into minivans or SUVs. Customers are welcome hand stand orders from pallets.
After receiving confirmation of your order, and upon arrival at Fillmore Container please DO the following:
Arrive within your scheduled time slot to ensure that your order is properly staged and to allow for social distancing in our limited space. (Pick-Up time slots are scheduled between 9 am and 4 pm).
Have your Order # and Customer Name under which the order was placed.
Back into one of the 2 parking spots at the Pick-Up Garage. (If both spots are full, please wait in one of our regular parking spots until one is available).
Wait until the previous customer is loaded before retrieving your order.
Customers are expected to wear a mask on the premises.
Enter through the door around the corner on the right side of the garage.
Proceed to the large whiteboard, where you should see your Order Number and the cart or shelf location. (If you do not see your number, double check your confirmation for the pick-up date, and press the call button located by the whiteboard for help. Please allow our staff time to respond before calling with your cell phone, as lines are often busy.)
Only touch or handle your cart/order.
Use the Garage Door Opener (button marked Garage Door) if you need to roll a cart to your vehicle.
If choosing to take the cart to your vehicle, please back the cart (handle first) down the ramp to avoid contents falling off cart.
Double-check your order as you load it. A packing slip will be attached to your order.
Return your cart to where you got it.
Close all doors on your way out.
Vacate the space in a timely manner and be aware of traffic.
