  17. Megan P. Posted July 24, 2013 at 7:50 pm | Permalink

These look awesome! I’d probably go for 9oz.

  18. Connie Deem Posted July 24, 2013 at 7:51 pm | Permalink

I’ve been a fan of Fillmore’s for many years. Last year, I came across Marissa’s site and was quite impressed. Love the match making between the two. Haven’t tried canning using the hex jars, but hopefully will in the very near future.

  36. Chris C. Posted July 24, 2013 at 8:20 pm | Permalink

I’d totally go for the 6-oz hex jars, since that’s a size I can’t get in regular canning jars! Sometimes a 4 oz jar of something just isn’t enough, but we have trouble using up a 6oz before it goes bad.

  37. Meredith Posted July 24, 2013 at 8:23 pm | Permalink

I love the cute mini ones but to be useful would do the 6 or 9 oz ones.

  38. Judy Posted July 24, 2013 at 8:24 pm | Permalink

the hex jars are so lovely!

  40. Melinda Posted July 24, 2013 at 8:26 pm | Permalink

I’d have a hard time choosing which size I’d want. I guess it would depend on what’s waiting to be processed in my fridge. I love the mini ones because they would make the perfect gift for teachers, friends, and neighbors this holiday season!

  41. Jen LaFrinier Posted July 24, 2013 at 8:28 pm | Permalink

The minis would be great for gifts but the other sizes look fabulous as well!

  42. Jim Johnson Posted July 24, 2013 at 8:32 pm | Permalink

I would use the 6 oz hex jars. Perfect for honey. Especially since comb is hexagonal.

  43. Sarahq Posted July 24, 2013 at 8:32 pm | Permalink

I like all the sizes. So nice to have an alternative to the round jars! I had hoped that canning in this style jar was a possibility!

  52. Amelia Posted July 24, 2013 at 8:54 pm | Permalink

I’m crazy about the hex jars! The 9oz jars are the most practical for me, but the 1.5oz jars are adorable!

  53. Maria Posted July 24, 2013 at 8:56 pm | Permalink

I’d use these for gifts — I love it when the gift itself is pretty enough to need little or no wrapping 🙂

    6 oz for me please!

  60. Michelle Posted July 24, 2013 at 9:33 pm | Permalink

  61. Anne F. Posted July 24, 2013 at 9:34 pm | Permalink

I’d probably go with the 6 oz jars. Though the 9 oz is tempting too. Thanks for a great giveaway!

  62. mickie Posted July 24, 2013 at 9:37 pm | Permalink

I would choose the 9 oz hex jars and fill them with gorgeous blackberry jam!

  63. Jessica D. Posted July 24, 2013 at 9:38 pm | Permalink

I really like the 6 oz. size. A nice stop between 4 oz. and 8 oz. that I don’t see with conventional jars.

  115. Pamela Posted July 25, 2013 at 1:55 am | Permalink

Sooo Many choices. Would have to go for the 9oz jar. Anything smaller would just be enough to tease someone with local goodies.

We used these jars at our wedding filled with local honey and dressed with ribbons with names and dates printed on for favors and gifts for our guests. People loved them and were ‘stealing’ unclaimed jars from empty tables.

  116. Monica Posted July 25, 2013 at 1:58 am | Permalink

  148. Jim Posted July 25, 2013 at 9:52 am | Permalink

I really like the 6 oz size but it is a tough decision between 6 and 9.

  149. Karen Larsen Posted July 25, 2013 at 10:30 am | Permalink

I would choose the 9 oz and use them for the more special gifts. Jams made from things we’ve grown in our own urban garden. Special recipes made for particular people. Or special experimental chutneys. I have one hex sided jar in my collection and I always keep that jar when I’m making batches because I can’t bear to part with it. It would be wonderful to have more to share.

  150. Jan Hatchett Posted July 25, 2013 at 7:03 am | Permalink

I would be thrilled with the 4 oz. hexie jars with some red lids. These would be perfect for the jams and jellies that I make for Christmas gift baskets each year!

I really like the 12 sided jars. The 9 ounce size would probably be the most useful, but the tiny ones sure are cute!

  289. Nellie Posted July 27, 2013 at 12:31 pm | Permalink

I’d use the 4oz for gifts and tasting samples, the 6 oz for jams and the 9oz for storage!

  290. Patti Posted July 27, 2013 at 5:15 pm | Permalink

I think the 9 oz jars would be perfect for gift/barter jams.

    6 oz jars? Sold.

I would use the 6 oz for drinking glasses. They are cute and don’t break as easily as regular glasses.

  298. Judy Reed Posted July 27, 2013 at 4:49 pm | Permalink

Love the jars. Buy jelly in only that design. Use for spices, etc. did not know they could be used for canning with new lids or where to buy new lids.

Think I’d go for the 9 oz Hexagon Gourmet Canning Jars for the watermelon rind pickles I’m starting this weekend.

The 9 oz. sound good but I read something about it needing to be something acidic (not my raspberry habanero jam) so I guess whatever needs to be canned would dictate which size I ordered. Thanks for the variety!

The 6oz. would be nice and I am still looking for a good bacon marmalade recipe.
